After earning a biology degree and studying briefly to be a doctor, Eddie Buxton discovered his true calling in the world of commercial real estate. He reached the pinnacle of success in his profession earlier this year, when he was honored by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors as its 2018 Commercial Realtor of the Year.

Real estate isn’t a 9 to 5 job for Franne Schwarb and the other members of her Charleston Fine Homes team – and it never will be.
Schwarb, recently honored by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors as the organization’s 2018 Residential Realtor of the Year, has been in the business of buying and selling homes for more than a quarter of a century. A Mount Pleasant resident for the past 22 years, she cited the advantages of working with a team that also includes Chari Karinshak and Yvette Grist.

Jack Owens, with NAI Charleston, understands the deep significance of being named Commercial Realtor® of the Year by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® (CTAR). In fact, Owens was told that a friend was receiving the award when he trudged back to the ceremony from a trip out of town in old corduroys and a faded shirt. He was shocked when he was recognized with the award. “I caught a lot of guff for being the worst-dressed person in the room,” he laughs.

Michael Sally, a Realtor® with Carolina One Real Estate in Summerville, didn’t grow up wanting to be a real estate agent. He had another career in Virginia Beach when his wife’s brain tumor diagnoses brought them home to Hanahan and forced him to find a job that would produce income for his growing family.
