July is one of the most patriotic months on the calendar, and for one homebuilder this year it’s U-S … A+.

Lennar recently earned an A+ rating on Big Builder Magazine’s 2015 public builder report card, making it the only company in the nation to do so.

And now for the real fireworks: To celebrate its latest distinction, Lennar is offering up to $5,000 toward closing costs when buyers use the company’s preferred lender.

“Lennar has never been stronger nationally, and the same holds true here in the Lowcountry,” said Lennar Coastal Carolinas Division President Jason Byham. “The quality of our homes and our sound business practices are things we’re very proud of.”

The grades, handed out by Builder Magazine’s editors, are a research-based analysis of financial and operational performance across a range of criteria. On the scorecard, Lennar posted a 38.2 out of 40 in the financial category, 12.7 out of 20 in the land category, 16.4 out of 20 in operations and 18.2 out 20 for sales and marketing.

In the first half of 2015, Lennar has opened its most ambitious Lowcountry community, Coosaw Preserve in Dorchester County, and acquired an additional 123 home sites that will expand Lindera Preserve, the fastest selling community in Berkeley County’s Cane Bay Plantation.

In another exciting move, Lennar is now selling four brand-new floor plans in The Coves at Lakes of Cane Bay, the newest phase of Berkeley County’s Cane Bay Plantation. HardiPlank siding, raised foundations and breathtaking lakefront properties are all on offer. Homes there range from 3 to 5 bedrooms and from 1,804 to 2,849 square feet. Prices begin in the mid-200s.

“We’re at a place where we want buyers to recognize Lennar for the luxury and quality that we deliver in all of our new homes,” Byham said. “When you combine the new floor plans we’ll be offering with the natural beauty, 300-acre lake and other amenities at The Coves, it’s a great showcase for us.”

The Lennar Coastal Carolinas division is currently building homes in 14 Lowcountry and Grand Strand communities and is one of the largest builders in the Charleston and Myrtle Beach areas. Lennar offers affordable, move-up, and luxury homes and townhomes in communities that cater to almost any lifestyle.
